My photos
If you know me at all, you know I'm often found with a camera hanging around my neck. This hobby of mine got an early start... I got my first camera (a 110 film format camera) around age thirteen. In my early teens, I used to bike around Fond du Lac taking scenery shots. I upgraded to a 35mm camera at high school graduation -- it was by far one of my most used graduation presents! I actually still have it (more than twenty years later). It took beautiful photos, but I don't think I even realized how nice they were until I saw the crystal clear close-ups of my niece Alaine, taken shortly after she was born. This sold me on the Canon name brand for cameras!
Eventually I moved to digital, my first being a Sony Mavica FD-100. I was attracted to this Sony because I could use diskettes for storage, oh how laughable that is to me now!! Not that I'm cutting down the Sony name brand at all... I just laugh that a single picture I take now with either camera I own wouldn't even fit on a diskette! Now I have both a Canon PowerShot SD630 and a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. I keep the PowerShot on me at all times, although I still prefer the speed and flexibility of the Rebel.
I use two separate photo sharing services for my photos...
